It's the Holiday Season in Midwest City!
Midwest City is kicking off the holiday season Nov. 21-23 with a unique way to experience Holiday
Lights Spectacular, a community event to light the city and more!
Walk the Lights gives you and your family the opportunity to experience Midwest City’s Holiday Lights Spectacular in a unique way- on foot! Plus, Santa’s Village in the middle of the park will have sweet treats and crafts to enjoy as well as photos with Santa Claus. Tickets are just $5 and admission is free for children 12 years old and under. Enjoy this event at Joe B. Barnes Regional Park from 6 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 21.
Holiday Lights Spectacular occurs all season long in Joe B. Barnes Regional Park and features more than 100 animated light displays of your favorite holiday stories, characters and more! Opening night is Nov. 22 at 5:30 p.m. with special performances by local choirs, free hot chocolate and more to kick off this Midwest City holiday tradition! Holiday Lights Spectacular is open every night to drive through Nov. 22-Dec. 25 Sunday through Thursday 6 to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 6 to 11 p.m. For more details about this classic holiday event, click here.
Midwest City’s newest holiday event is Light the City, happening on Nov. 23 at Charles J. Johnson Central Park in Town Center Plaza. Local businesses and residents will come together to light the city and kick off the holiday season! This event begins at 6 p.m. and will include live entertainment, visits by your favorite Christmas characters and more before the big countdown to lighting the 40-foot tree in Town Center Plaza as well as holiday lights across the city.
