Fall Favorite: Mid-America Street Fest!
Have you heard the news? Mid-America Street Fest is returning to Midwest City for its 4th annual celebration! This year’s event is scheduled to be held Saturday, Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Charles J. Johnson Central Park located in Town Center Plaza at the intersection of SE 29th Street and Mid-America Boulevard.
The highly-anticipated Mid-America Street Fest will feature a full-day of family friendly festivities. Children and adults of all ages will enjoy a variety of entertainment including live music, inflatables, carnival games and rides plus special children’s activities like the Extreme Animals Safari Petting Zoo and Pioneer Pony rides. Rose State College will host a children's tent and the Boy Scouts of America will showcase their pioneered Monkey Bridge that tests balance and skill. In addition, local vendors will be on site for shopping, snacks and educational opportunities.
The festival is free and open to the public. Tickets for games and rides can be purchased for $1 each or an all-day wristband is $18 and each additional wristband is $14 for families with more than one child. Pony rides are $4 each and are paid directly to the operator.
