Happy Holidays in Midwest City!

There’s so many festivities happening in Midwest City to enjoy this holiday season! Get in the spirit by making plans to check out the family-friendly displays and events scheduled now until the New Year.
Holiday Lights Spectacular is open in Joe B. Barnes Regional Park Sunday through Thursday from 6-10 p.m., as well as Friday and Saturday from 6-11 p.m. View the brilliant scenery now until Dec. 30 and behold more than 1 million luminescent bulbs and 90 magnificent displays that make up the winter wonderland. The route is nearly one-mile long and features both secular and religious light displays. Entrance to Holiday Lights Spectacular is free. Donations are accepted.

Don’t forget to check out the second annual Storyland Christmas open Dec. 2-18. The event will be held in Charles J. Johnson Central Park in Town Center Plaza and will showcase 37 larger-than-life murals depicting eight Christmas stories. Plus, you won’t want to miss photos with Santa, entertainment, children’s activities and much more!
Experience the holiday lights in a whole new way with the Nightlight Run 5k on Dec. 12. Runners can dash along the 5k path through the illuminated light display and compete for awards and trophies. Pre-registration is $30 and all proceeds benefit the Holiday Lights Spectacular fund. Register online here.
