Introducing a New Event: Midwest Summer Fest!
Midwest City is proud to announce the debut of a new summer event for the entire family! Midwest Summer Fest will be held the first Friday of each month, June through September from 6:30-11:30 p.m. in Charles J. Johnson Central Park.
Event attendees will enjoy live entertainment, movies in the park and food trucks! Children of all ages will enjoy exciting yard games including Jenga, checkers, toddler bowling, yard pong, corn hole and more. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
The first Midwest Summer Fest is set to be held this Friday, June 2. The event will feature live music by Maggie McClure and Shane Henry. Live music will be followed by a showing of “The Rookie” at 9:30 p.m.
